「人を食った」ほどの巨大アヒル出現！ : 社会 : YOMIURI ONLINE（読売新聞）大阪市内の水辺を会場に開催中の「水都大阪２００９」で、巨大なアヒルのオブジェ「フローティング・ダック」が、京阪電鉄天満橋駅近くの八軒家浜(はちけんやはま)に登場した。 　大川に浮かぶアヒルは高さ９メートル５０、長さ１１メートル。明治時代、淀川の改修を手がけたオランダ人技術者ヨハニス・デ・レイケにちなんで、同国の芸術家Ｆ・ホフマン氏に制作を依頼した。 　イベント初日の先月２２日、縫製がほころんでしぼむトラブルがあったが、補修が間に合った。企画したプロデューサーの小原啓渡さん（４９）は「驚きだけではなく、癒やしも感じて」とホッとした様子。
